WANT ALL THE PERFORMANCE THEY CAN GET INTO THEIR OWN STREET CAR. HERE IS A STORY OF AN ERE CUSTOMER WHO HAS JUST THAT. ALL

Erick's Racing wins NOPI Atlanta

Erick Aguilar wins the third NDRA event at Atlanta,
Georgia. A strong field was not close enough to challenge Erick, but provided close competition through the rest of
the field. Weather conditions were not suitable for breaking records, but Erick managed extended his MPH Record
to 132.84 mph. With luck, the next event at Maryland International Raceway will provide better weather and the opportunity
to break some more records.
NOPI results from Texas & Florida

Erick Aguilar took the lead after the first NDRA
event of the year in Dallas, Texas, smashing the ET and MPH Records in the process. The new records are 10.087 and
130.81 mph. As a newcomer to NDRA, Erick's car was subject to fuel, oil and capacity tests to verify its legality, which
it passed to silence the critics. Despite qualifying number one and looking the strong favorite to win, Erick lost to
Ken Scheepers in the finals because of a missed gear shift. However, because of the records which were broken, Erick
moved into the points lead after one round.

For the second event of the year at Tampa, Florida,
Erick Aguilar again was the person to beat. A flawless performance from Erick gave him his first NDRA win and extended
his points lead. Weather conditions were too hot and humid to extend Erick's records. The talk around the pits was all about
traction control, but it was verified that Erick's size 8 boots were the only traction control devices in the car.
Erick's Racing 1-2 at CMI
Erick's Racing took the first two positions at
the CMI Spring Jam, held and Sacramento Raceway on April 6th. Erick Aguilar took first place with a record 10.07 second run,
while teammate Javier Loarca finished runner up with a best time of 10.76. For the critics: both cars were running close
to 1600 lbs and were using gasoline.
Erick's Racing teams with STR to run NOPI
for 2003
Erick's Racing has teamed up with STR to run the
full NOPI schedule, starting with the Texas opener on April 12/13 at the Dallas Texas Motorplex. Erick Aguilar commented,
"We're really happy that STR is going to help us because we can now do the full schedule, especially the East Coast tracks.
The car is running fast and we're looking to set a few records this year. See you at Texas."

Hondata RSX & 03 Civic Si
ECU re-tuning available

Erick's Racing now offers the Hondata RSX & 2003 Civic Si ECU re-tune. This
gains significant amounts of torque and power over the whole power band. Same-day service (Monday - Saturday) is available. Call
for an appointment.
Erick Aguilar to run NOPI for 2003

The season schedule for Erick's Racing has changed,
with plans to run the full NOPI series for 2003, plus selected NHRA events. Erick Aguilar said, "We've been forced to
change our plan of running IDRC this year because of the recent rule change to slow us down (the minimum weights have been
changed by 125 pounds, in favor of the competition). We want to run in a series where we can run the car to its full
potential, without being penalized for our hard work and development; so we won't run any further IDRC events, starting with
Phoenix. NOPI looks like the best series for us at the moment."
Erick Aguilar wins IDRC All Motor West
Coast Nationals

The first event of the 2003 racing season was held
at Los Angeles County Raceway on February 22-23 Erick Aguilar was hot favorite after winning the final IDRC event of
2002 at Palmdale with a record 10.69 pass. Erick's Racing did not disappoint the crowd. Winning the event in the process,
he broke his own track record with a 10.61 pass. Full event coverage coming soon...
Erick Aguilar wins
IDRC All Motor International Finals, Western & National titles

The final event of the 2002 racing season was held
at Los Angeles County Raceway on November 23-24 Erick Aguilar needed to win the event to win the National Championship,
and reach the second round to win the Western division. Erick held back for the first two qualifying rounds, then let rip
a 10.75 second pass to qualify #1.
Erick's Racing re-writes the record books
at the Battle of the Imports

The final round of the Battle of the Imports was
held at Famoso Raceway on November 16 & 17, 2002. The field was expected to be one of the quickest all motor fields ever,
and did not disappoint (nine cars qualified with 10 second-time slips). Erick Aguilar was a late addition to the event, showing
up on Sunday morning.
IDRC Long Horn Nationals, River City Raceway,
TX

Texas again proved to be a showdown between Erick's
Racing Civic Coupe and Shawn Geers' VW Bug in the battle for the IDRC National All Motor title. Erick's car was sporting a
new wheelie bar by Ron Lummus. The weather looked good, and it was looking good to make some quick passes over the weekend.
ERE's team-mate, Norman Aubry, also made the 1400-mile trip to run his CRX.
Erick's Racing wins again at the
IDRC Compact Car Invasion in
Firebird, Phoenix, AZ

Competition in the All Motor class was fierce,
with the top 14 cars qualifying with a 11 second timeslip or better. Erick Aguilar qualified first with a 10.70 pass,
but this time was later beaten by a fraction by Shawn Geers, the Western division points leader. With two qualifying
passes remaining, Erick elected to save the engine and take second qualifying spot behind Geers, but missed the best weather
conditions on Saturday night and the chance for another record. The other cars in Erick's Racing Team performed strongly,
with Norman Aubry's CRX qualifying 6th with a 11.09 and Javier Loarca's Civic qualifying 7th with a 11.15 ET.
Battle of the Imports,
Famoso Raceway, Bakersfield, CA

The first ever Night Import Drag event proved to be a hard test for many of the vehicles; Erick's Racing
Engines' Civic Coupe included. During the proceeding week, the engine had been re-tuned to run on alcohol, but at the
track a fuel system failure required the swap back to race gas for the event. During the two qualifying runs the ERE
Civic ran strongly, but lacked traction and could only run 10.86 @ 124 mph. This was enough to secure the second qualifying
spot and set the fastest time for a Honda on the night, but was well short of expectations, even on race gas.
Erick’s Racing Body Slams the Competition
at IDRC BF Goodrich Summer Slam Nationals in Englishtown

Erick Aguilar and the Erick's Racing Engines Civic overcame broken suspension and high temperatures
to win the IDRC BF Goodrich Summer Slam Nationals in Englishtown, breaking his own world record and winning his 4th consecutive
IRDC all motor event. In the second qualifying round, the ERE Civic blasted to a 10.590, breaking the record set by Erick
in April at the IDRC event in Texas. The record looked like it could be broken again on Sunday, but a suspension problem
slowed times and culminated in a broken suspension arm during the finals. Luckily Erick was still able to drive the car
to a win despite the breakage.
It seems that Erick Aguilar and the Erick’s Racing Engines Civic have not only gotten the attention
of everyone in the IDRC, but also across the hall at the NHRA. A July 7th article on the NHRA Web site profiles Scott Mohler,
who campaigns a Neon in the NHRA all-motor class. The article hints that with equal weight, the Neon would be much faster
than Erick's car. Erick was looking forward to meeting Scott in the IDRC event at Englishtown, but the Neon pulled out
after qualifying.
Profile on Erick Aguilar on Drag Racing Online
Drag Racing Online has an article written by Tim Marshall about Erick's Racing Engines, with some photos
of the shop and the race car.
Erick’s Racing Dominates IDRC Landspeed Racing All-Star Nationals in Atco, NJ
Erick Aguilar continued his dominance of the IDRC All-Motor class with his third straight series
victory at the IDRC Landspeed Racing Nationals in Atco, New Jersey (www.importdrag.com). Making an East Coast swing with the assistance of new sponsor Hasport (www.hasport.com), the ERE car was in a class of its own at the Atco track.
Atco is historically known as a fast track thanks to its near se-level elevation and high barometric
pressures. Unfortunately, the weekend opened with temperatures in the mid 80s with high humidity and, worst of all, a consistent
headwind. These conditions put a crimp in ERE’s plans to smash the existing all motor record, so Erick and the team
decided to settle for simply beating the competition into submission.
Starting with qualifying on Saturday, the ERE Civic spent the entire weekend in a narrow 0.07 second
ET range. Rumor has it that Erick is considering running the car in a bracket class next time. Qualifying passes clocked in
at 10.700@127.17 and 10.650@127.2. Enough to put Erick into the #1 qualifier spot by over a second. Sunday saw more of the same, with elimination
runs of 10.719@126, 10.665@127 and 10.675@126. While these times were nearly a tenth off of Erick’s best ever runs, his closest competition was
in the high 11s, so Erick ran his own race.
When asked about the event, Erick said, “The conditions weren’t as good as we hoped, so
we weren’t able to break the record. And the tranny combo we tried this time wasn’t as good as our normal setup,
so we’ll be changing back for the next race. But the addition of some new slicks, a vacuum pump and some other tweaks
to the car allowed us to make up the losses from the weather and keep us in our normal 10.6 range. If we get a cool day with
no wind at another event this year, we’ll break off a strong 10.5.”
The win increased ERE’s point lead in the IDRC All-Motor national championship standings to a
commanding 107 points (maximum 88 points available per race) over the nearest competitor. The ERE car will stay in New Jersey
for the next IDRC event at Englishtown in July.
On an additional note, Super Street magazine has finished shooting the ERE Civic and interviewing Erick.
Look for a major article in the next couple of months.
Erick to race in Atco, NJ on June 1 & 2
May 28, 2002
Erick's racing will be in Atco, NJ for theIDRC All Star Nationals, on June 1 & 2 The last month has been spent preparing the car, and it is hoped
that the conditions will allow Erick's Racing to break their own record. Look out for the red Motul tent, and
new graphics on the car and trailer.
Erick wins at San Antonio and sets another All Motor
Honda World Record!
April 13, 2002, IDRC, River City Raceway, San Antonio, TX
10.60 @ 127 mph
Erick's Racing Engines paid a visit to the Alamo
in San Antonio and put on a rout of the all-motor class competition at the IDRC O'Reilly Auto Parts Lone Star Nationals. ERE
opened up qualifying on Saturday with a 10.602@127.94 mph. A new Honda all motor record and just 0.02 seconds off the
top all motor ET ever recorded in the IDRC. As no qualifiers could get within 2 tenths of ERE (including the overall record
holder), the car was put away until Sunday to avoid wear and tear.
During eliminations, the first round saw a relaxed
11.6 ET as Erick took it easy vs. his low 12 second competition. But in the semi's lane choice for the finals was at stake,
so Erick let fly with a 10.63 to assure his pick of lanes. In the finals Erick faced the VW Bug of Shawn Geers. Geers knew
he was outclassed, so he tried every trick in the book to pull off an upset, including a burn down in the lights that almost
netted him a disqualification. Despite Geers' efforts, and an aggressive reaction time, his 10.88 couldn't touch Erick's 10.62.
The victory moves ERE into first place in the championship battle by 19 points. For more information, visit the IDRC homepage
ERE is very proud to be part of the burgeoning
all motor class which showcases engine technology far more applicable to street rides than any other pro class in the series.
The all-motor class has become extremely popular with the fans thanks to incredibly tight racing. IDRC National Director Michael
Ferrara said:
"The All-Motor class has gone from a side show
to center stage in our first three 2002 events. We never expected these racers to be able to put on such an exciting show.
It’s the most competitive class in all of import and sport compact drag racing.” With planned promotions through
nearly 200 O’Reilly Auto Parts stores in Texas for the November 9th and 10th return to San Antonio, it's expected that
the crowd and racer participation will double. The IDRC would like to thank all of the racers, fans, media, sponsor and tracks
continuing to make IDRC number one"
New All Motor Honda World Record!
March 24, 2002, Battle of the Imports, Famoso Raceway,
Bakersfield, CA
Erick's Racing all motor Civic Coupe sets a new
world record for an all motor Honda with a time of
10.64 @ 127 mph
Unfortunately, a transmission mishap put Erick
out in the first round of eliminations. Erick's car was running under Battle of the Imports rules, weighing 1580 lbs and using
VP C-14+ racing fuel (it was checked).
Norman Aubry ran consistently with two ten-second
runs, setting a personal best of 10.92 @ 123 mph, which is also a record for a B16 engine.
Throttle Bodies available for
the S2000
March 20, 2002, Erick's Racing billet throttle
bodies are now available for the S2000. The throttle body is tapered from 68 to 70 mm.
Erick Exterminates Bugs
at Phoenix!
March 16, 2002, IDRC, Firebird International Raceway,
Phoenix, AZ
8 @ 126 mph
Erick's Racing all motor Civic Coupe wins the second
round of the IDRC all motor class at Firebird International Raceway, setting a IDRC track record for Phoenix, and a world
record for a B series all motor Honda of 10.68 @ 125 mph. Successive runs were 10.73 and 10.80 - proving that this was not
a once-in-a-blue-moon fluke. Erick's car was running under IDRC rules, weighing 1580 lbs and using VP C-14+ racing fuel
(it was checked).
(Team Erick's Racing) Norman Aubry backed up his
10-second run from 2001 with two successive runs in the 10s - qualifying as the second fastest Honda. A gearbox problem put
Norman out in the second round, but watch out for him in Bakersfield.
